Old Timers: RIMMEL Kate Moss Lipstick

It's been a while since I've bought any new lipsticks... that may be because I've been rather content with the one's I already have. I'm afraid this post may not be very exciting and the lipsticks I'm about to review aren't new. These lipsticks are from the Lasting Finish and Lasting Finish Matte ranges by RIMMEL and Kate Moss.

These shades are:
Pink: 101 and Nude: 113 from the Lasting Finish MATTE range and Red: 01 from the normal Lasting Finish range. You can pick them all up (and many more shades) from shops such as Boots and Superdrug for approximately £5.50. Prices are subject to change, and if you do your research you may come into a bargain!

As you will see from the image above the range of brightly coloured lipstick look fantastic with such lovely packaging.

It's safe to say that the shades from this range are true to colour. You can see in the image above that the quality of pigmentation is fantastic. These lipsticks really do add a refreshing splash of colour to your daily look and you could say that they make your lips pop!

As well as being true to colour this range is rather 'true-to-name' if there is such a thing. I usually coat a layer of lip-cote over lipsticks to help the colour stay all day. At first I did out of habit with these, until one day I forgot and realised that the Lasting Finish range(s) stay put for hours without need of a helping hand.

The bottom line is, that I really would recommend these old timers to anyone who's looking to invest in a new lipstick to incorporate into their daily routines. Depending on what sort of palette your used to, some of the shades in the line(s) may be a little daring, but I was always told to have a little fun with makeup - in which case compliments will follow.

Have you tried Kate Moss for RIMMEL? My fingers, legs and toes are crossed in hope that she'll release a new range this year.

Happy Monday!
Louise.
